De Ana (Diana Stone) started her musical journey at the age of 6 as she discovered her love for playing piano. Following her keen interest in music, she began studying classical piano and achieved grade 8 in piano and music theory by the age of 15.

Feeling somewhat unsatisfied with the rigidity of her classical background, she started to improvise, quickly discovering a love for composition, arrangement and, eventually, songwriting. This led her to study music performance at Burton and South Derbyshire college, where she started to also develop as a vocalist.

With all these song ideas but no knowledge on how to record and produce, she broadened her skill set with a First Class Bachelor of Science in Music Technology and Production from University of Derby. While initially studying to produce her own songs, she discovered a love for working with other artists and engineering their sessions. Following her degree, she worked as a runner in a number of studios to level up her skills and gain further experience.

Now, as a content creator on YouTube with over 1.5k subscribers and an in-house engineer at Small Pond Studios in Brighton, she consistently engineers for a variety of artists, while sharing her journey and music production tips in an accessible, fun and encouraging manner.
